In this innovative endeavor, we worked with a major government department to create an NLP Engine designed to harness key land information and analytical insights from data sourced through Social Media. Using LLMs, our solution is adept at grouping similar news items, generating concise summaries for each news group, and enabling precise keyword searches related to the news. Additionally, the system performs sentiment analysis to gauge public opinion and tags the geographical locations associated with each news group, thereby enriching the data's utility and relevance for policy-making and public communication strategies. Additionally, there is an innovative map feature allows users to visually navigate through different regions, clicking on tagged locations to reveal the news stories and discussions pertinent to that area. Each location presents grouped news items along with associated hot keywords, offering a comprehensive view of land-related issues and public sentiment in specific locales. This not only enhances the data's applicability for policy formulation and public communication strategies but also introduces a novel way of interacting with and understanding the spatial dimensions of social media discourse.
